Eng. Michael Samuel Mwase is a seasoned Civil Engineer and Water Infrastructure Specialist with over 26 years of practical experience shaping resilient infrastructure systems across Uganda and internationally. He is an ardent and long-standing member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (UIPE), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence, ethical practice, and continuous development in the engineering field. As the Director of Blue Peak Water and Urban Solutions, he provides grounded, hands-on leadership informed by years of fieldwork, technical design, and project delivery in both urban and rural environments.
His career reflects a consistent commitment to solving real-world challenges in water access, stormwater management, and sustainable urban development. He is currently a PhD Fellow in Storm Water Management and Built Environment Engineering at Makerere University, building on a strong academic foundation that includes a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and Design and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Eng. Mwase has extensive experience working with a wide range of government institutions, municipalities, development partners, and private sector clients, contributing to policy-aligned infrastructure development and national growth. In addition, he brings over 14 years of specialised experience in oil and gas monitoring, where he has been involved in environmental compliance, infrastructure oversight, and resource management within complex and highly regulated operational environments.
